Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide and install a Turn-key Dust Collection System for its Antigo Sawmill. The project involves the design, delivery, installation, and startup of a complete system meeting the specifications outlined below. This system is critical to improving air quality, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. The system will be used for educational and training purposes in the NTC School of Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing Wood Science Program. The vendor should describe its ability to meet the scope of services as outlined in the RFP. Anticipated Delivery, Installation and Training of Equipment by: Friday, August 29,2025 NTC is seeking a complete, installed solution. The selected vendor must provide a Sawmill Dust Collection System that meets the following requirements: Equipment Specifications Dust Collector Type: Open Bag Auto Shaker dust collector style system Location: In door installation meeting local, State, and industry standards Airflow Capacity: 5,000 CFM Mounting: Above-ground installation directly above the corkscrew conveyor in the chipper room. Will drop into conveyor and be removed from the building. (See Attach Image example) Ductwork: 20ga Spiral ductwork to connect the dust collector to both the Head Saw and the Re-Saw o OPTIONAL (include this as an additional cost option): 14ga welded and painted ductwork Warranty: Minimum 1-year warranty on the entire system, including all parts and labor Installation: All parts, labor, and materials necessary to fully function upon competition must be included Electrical: Full electrical connections and integration into existing infrastructure o OPTIONAL (include this as an additional cost option): Include an interlock system that activates the dust collection system when the Head Saw, Re-Saw, and Conveyer are activated Shipping & Handling: Delivery to the Antigo Sawmill and any installation equipment must be included Training: On-site startup and operational training for staff upon installation
