Site work for a civil project in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The replacement of two existing submersible pumps, addition of two additional submersible pumps, bypass pumping, electrical upgrades, generator replacement, site piping and fitting installation, flow meter installation, surge relief, general site improvements, and the installation of approximately 7,400 LF of 16-inch PVC force main and associated air release valves, manholes, and fittings. The project will be funded by public funds from the Town of Holly Springs and Golden LEAF Foundation, therefore; bidding, contract award and bonding requirements shall conform to N.C Statutes for public facilities construction. Minority firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder unless all bids are rejected. The Town of Holly Springs reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractors offering a proposal on this project must be licensed to do the specified type of contracting in the State of North Carolina. The Use of any sub-contractor on this project must be approved by the Engineer. Any bidder that is currently in litigation with the town will be disqualified from bidding.
