Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elmo, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes desire to enter into a contract with a general construction contractor to improve the existing road that accesses the West Elmo Homesites which are located on the west side of Elmo, MT. The road improvements include installation of geotextile separation/stabilization fabric, road sub-base gravel, base course gravel, concrete curb/gutter/sidewalks, storm drainage structures, asphalt pavement, signage and striping. The existing road to be improved is currently "surfaced" with sub-base course gravel. Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Indian Avenue Reconstruction #25-168. Reconstruction, consisting of erosion control, grading to establish proper drainage, ditching, and installing geotextile fabric and aggregate base, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and sidewalk. The work will be located in Elmo, MT. The Project has an expected duration of 90 days. The Work will be substantially completed on or before September 30, 2025 and completed and ready for final payment on or before December 30, 2025. Question Deadline 06/09/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. . Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Work A. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, services, and documentation necessary to construct the Project defined herein. The Work may include related services such as testing, start-up, and commissioning, all as required by the Contract Documents. B. The Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Project is generally described as follows: 1. Indian Avenue Reconstruction : Project includes reconstructing the street, including installation of geotextile separation/stabilization fabric, road sub-base gravel, base course gravel, concrete curb/gutter/sidewalks, storm drainage structures, asphalt pavement, signage and striping. 2. The Site of the Work areas are described in greater detail in the Contract Documents but generally located on Indian Avenue, formerly known as Albert Lane, which is located South of Skookum Dr. on the West side of US Hwy 93 on the Tribal Homesite in Elmo, MT.
