RCOC is seeking a written proposal for this scope of work and total lump-sum price, for providing all the labor, equipment and materials to install a culvert as specified in the attached drawings and specifications. The project consists of the following specifications The culvert to be installed is one (1) piece that is 39 feet long and 48 inch diameter round CMP. The culvert is to be installed in kind per drawings that are attached. Site location overhead is attached, and the nearest address is: 8799 Water Road, Holly MI 48442. The gravel road will be closed for installation. The Contractor will need to perform the following tasks Dewater site for removal/installation - Site has three other culverts under the railroad tracks that flow from Buckhorn Lake. Provide all equipment/labor to complete installation. Remove existing failed CMP culvert. Install new CMP in kind per drawings submitted. Provide all backfill material and pipe bedding as needed. (Existing materials may not be suitable for reuse) Backfill material must be clean and free of debris. Contractor to complete backfill in lifts with proper compaction. Contractor to place 8" X 10" rip rap per plan shown supplied by contractor Site visits are encouraged to check dewatering situation (two existing culverts are submerged).
