Site work for a water / sewer project in Fairview, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are invited to supply and perform the following materials, equipment and work: Installation of approximately 4,039 lineal feet of 8 inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer line, 1,600 lineal feet of 6 inch diameter force main sewer, including precast concrete manholes, sewer laterals and other appurtenant and restoration activities on all or portions ofCanal Road, LakeviewAvenue, Rupert Drive and Jacob Lane. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Fairview Township Sewer Authority in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) ofthe bid price. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. Any contractor who has pending litigation with the Fairview Township Water and SewerAuthority is not eligible to bid on this project. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date ofopening bids for the purpose ofreviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications for bidders prior to awarding the contract. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
