Seismic upgrades as well as interior renovations at Surrey Archives. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from architecture consulting firms specializing in institutional and municipal building renovations to provide comprehensive consulting services for seismic upgrades as well as interior renovations at Surrey Archives has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. The consulting services will extend over the project life cycle from a schematic design phase through design development, construction documentation, procurement, construction administration, substantial completion, and closeout stages of the project. The ideal firm will have extensive heritage buildings remediation and restoration design experience or, as part of this RFP, engage a firm specialized in heritage architectural work as needed. Further update in early spring 2026.
