In general, Work consists of the following approximate quantities: 1 LS Demo Existing Storm Lift Station No. 2 Including Abandonment of Existing Wet Well, Dry Well and Forcemain, and removal of Electrical Controls, Pumps, Piping, etc. 2 EA Install New 5.0 HP Submersible Non-Clog Pumps at Lift Station 2 LS Install New Exterior Electrical Controls to Operate Duplex Submersible Pump Stations and all new electrical wiring, conduit, etc. 1 LS Install New Precast Concrete Wet Well, Valve Vault, Pumps, Piping, Valves, Fittings, etc. at Lift Station No. 2 1 LS Temporary Conveyance of Sanitary Sewage 335 LF 6" HDPE Forcemain Pipe 30 LF 12" PVC, Gravity Sewer Pipe 75 SY 6" Concrete Driveway Pavement 106 TN Bituminous Paving. Each bidder must submit with his bid a certified or a cashier's check upon some reputable bank of the State of Minnesota, payable to the City of Clear Lake, for at least 5 (five) percent of the total amount of such bid, which check and the amount thereof, shall be forfeited to the City of Clear Lake, as liquidated damages if the bidder upon the letting of the contract to him, shall fail to enter into the contract so let. The bidder may submit a bidder's bond written through an insurance agency or cash in the same amount in lieu of a certified check.
