As of June 25, 2025, project is awarded to Austin Tyler Construction, Inc., in the amount of $691,544.10. This project consists of resurfacing CH 44 (River Rd.) from E. Frontage Rd. to 200 feet east of Prairie Creek Bridge and CH 29 (Stripmine Road) from IL 129 to IL 53. This work includes: a one and one-half (1%) inch HMA Surface Removal of all paved entrances and side roads to the right of way line; an application of Bituminous Materials (Prime Coat) and Aggregate (Prime Coat); a one (1) inch mat of HMA Level Binder, N70; a one and one-half (136) inch mat of HMA Surface Course, Mix "D", N70; Recessed Reflective Pavement Markers; Pipe culvert replacement; Class D patch; and other items necessary to complete the work. City/County Will Resurfacing of a portion of River Road and all of Strip Mine Road. Work includes the removal and replacement of various pipe culverts and backfilling with CLSM. Hot Mix Asphalt level binder and HMA surface course, aggregate wedge shoulders, recessed reflective pavement markers, and other items necessary to complete the project.
