Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rossville, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
"Bid documents must be obtained directly from CFS Engineers. Bids from companies that did not obtain documents directly from the engineer will have invalid bids. Please contact Kim Berkey via phone or email to obtain and pay for the documents and to be added to the planholders list" The project to be constructed is briefly described as follows: TRAIL 10' Wide Concrete Trail Approximately 2,319 L.F. AMENITIES Seeding & Erosion Control (2.95 Acres) Retaining Wall & Sidewalk Construction (164 L.F.) Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check on a solvent bank or a bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contact as surety in the State of Kansas and made payable to Rossville Community Foundation, as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract and give bond as required. The amount shown should read "Five Percent (5%) of the amount bid." All work in the plans shall be awarded to the same contractor, unless specified on plans by others. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of opening bids. All bidders must be prequalified with the Kansas Department of Transportation and/or by the City of Topeka for the type and amount of work covered under this contract. The Rossville Community Foundation reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any or all technicalities.
