The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids to establish a contract to/for on qualified bidder to provide monthly service to pump, haul, and dispose of sludge from the grease trap & muffin monster at River North Correctional Center at 329 Dellbrook Lane, Independence, Virginia 24348. The contract period will be from August 1, 2025, through July 31, 2026, and may be renewable in accordance with section V, paragraph E of Special Terms and Conditions. Bidders have the sole responsibility for assuring that bids are received in the Purchasing Office by the designated date and time. If bids are hand delivered, they must be delivered to the Issuing Agency's Purchasing Office at the address shown above. Hand delivered bids must be delivered in ample time to allow for security check-in at the front desk and delivery to the Purchasing Office prior to the closing time for the solicitation. Faxed, electronic, or oral bids will not be accepted.
