Renovation of a medical facility in Bettendorf, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical clinic.
Targeted Small Business (TSB): The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract at The University of Iowa Health Care Cancer Services - Quad Cities, 1351 Kimberly Road, Suite 100, Bettendorf, IA 52722. The Contract Time begins on the day the Constructor receives the Notice of Award, unsigned Form of Agreement, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and Subcontractor List Form. Bidder agrees to Substantially Complete project Work within two hundred fifty five (255) calendar days from the receipt of the Notice of Award and shall have no more than thirty (30) days to complete all items on the Punch List and achieve Final Completion. General Description of Work: This project will patch and paint wall surfaces throughout the clinic, replace flooring, rehang cabinetry, update select light fixtures, and replace identified HVAC equipment to support CT and Linear Accelerator spaces. 1) Alternates: Alternate 1: Replace HVAC serving southwest portion of clinic. Alternate 2: Replace HVAC serving southeast portion of clinic. Alternate 3: X-Ray #218 and Control #218A - Remove existing x-ray equipment and control station. Linear Accelerator #211 - Remove all brain lab equipment from ceiling. Remove brain lab electrical cabinets. Demolished equipment becomes property of the constructor. Refer to demolition drawings.
