Renovation of a water / sewer project in Nome, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Furnishing necessary materials, equipment,superintendence and labor for the City of Nome, Texas, Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project, TWDB DWSRF Project No. 62820, CID 02 - Electrical Controls, generally described as the rehabilitation of the City's Water Treatment Plant is located on the east side of FM 365, approximately two miles south of US Highway 90. The WTP is bound by FM 365 (to the west) and the Lower Neches Valley Authority canal (to the south). The scope of work will provide for the electrical modifications required to replace the motor control center at the Water Treatment Plant. Work completed under this contract will require the Water Treatment Plant to remain operational until work is completed. This project shall also provide for demolition, furnishings, temporary facilities, equipment, materials, testing, and all necessary appurtenances. The right is reserved by the City of Nome, as its interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. Question Deadline 06/19/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Nome, Texas; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted in duplicate. Bids may be held by the City of Nome, Texas for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. Time for receiving bids is subject to change pending review and approval of the plans and specifications by the Texas Water Development Board. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB).
