Remove and replace all of the existing roof system components such as termination bars, base flashings, etc. The insulation androof membrane is to be set in low-rise polyurethane adhesive. Bead extrusions spacing is not to exceed 3" on center. o Contractor to provide tapered insulation to provide positive drainage in the field of the roof and at roof penetrations such as curbs, etc. Crickets and saddles to be sloped at 1/2 " per foot or at a 1/4 " per foot more than the slope of the field of the roof. o Contractor to provide a complete, weather-tight roof system. o Contractor to provide thirty-year warranty details. o Provide 20 year total systems warranty with 72 mph wind uplift warranty. o Contractor to protect the floors and ceilings on the interior of the building prior to commencement of the work. o Contractor to provide a new copper roof edge metal. o Contractor to replace the existing roof hatch and provide a non- penetration demountable railing around the new roof hatch. o Remove and reinstall the existing steel grills over roof areas 5 and 6 as required to complete the installation of the new roof system.
