Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor and equipment necessary for the removal of snow and ice from properties that are non-compliant with the City's snow removal Ordinance and are abutting the City's designated Snow Emergency Routes. Each proposer must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, and are required to follow all State of Ohio prevailing wage requirements that may be applicable. The work will include plowing snow from sidewalks for a 4-foot minimum width on properties not compliant with City codified Ordinance No. 3797. Work would be authorized for snowfalls exceeding 3" in depth beginning 24 hours after snow has stopped accumulating. City inspectors will document non-compliant properties prior to the Contractor beginning snowclearing operations. Q/A:- If any person, firm or corporation contemplating the submission of a proposal for this Contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part ofthe Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents, he may submit, to the Service Department, a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person, firm, or corporation submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery. Such interpretations will be made only by a Memorandum duly issued by the Service Department and a copy ofsuch Memorandum will be mailed or delivered to each person securing a set ofthe Contract Documents, provided that sufficient period oftime is available for the issuance and the delivery ofsuch Memorandum prior to the receipt of bids. The Owner and the Service Department will not be responsible for any other explanations ofthe Contract Documents made prior to the receipt ofbids.
