Taylor Park Landscape Improvements A certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid, as specified by the Bid submitted by the Bidder, but not in excess of $20,000.00 whichever is lower, must be submitted with the bid as a guarantee that if a contract is awarded by the Township, the Successful Bidder shall execute the Contract required by the Contract Documents. Where the Contract Documents so require, a Consent of Surety in the amount equal to 100% of the bid shall also be required. The surety or sureties issuing any Bid Bond and/or Consent of Surety as required by the Contract Documents shall be licensed and/or authorized to transact business in the State of New Jersey and shall be acceptable to the Township All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27; and are further notified that they must comply with P.L. 1977, C. 33 and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with the bid. Additionally, a copy of the Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, for the Bidder and subcontractors must be submitted prior to award of the Contract in conformance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, deviations, or omissions in any bid or all bids, and to accept such bids and make such awards as may be in the best interest of the Owner. Furthermore, the Owner may request written clarification of any aspect of the proposal where, in the Owner's opinion, ambiguities exist.
