The County of Tuolumne ("County") is seeking bids from qualified vendors to procure and provide installation of new HVAC mini split units for the County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center relocation to the existing Ambulance/OES/EOC headquarters located at 18440 Striker Court in Sonora. These will be installed in the IDF room to provide proper climate control for additional equipment being added for the Sheriff Office Dispatch Center. These services must be provided for a one (1) month term, with the option of a one (3) month extension. Said services must meet all applicable Federal, State and/or Local regulations. The payment of prevailing wages is required. 2. Scope of Work 2.1. Procure: Contractor will provide: Gree or equivalent 36k 410A outdoor condenser, 230 volts, 1 phase. Quantity = 2 30-amp disconnects. Quantity = 2 20-amp fuses. Quantity = 2 Appropriate surge protectors. Quantity = 2 50 feet of line sets with communication wires. Quantity = 2 Condensate pumps with drain lines. Quantity = 2 Exterior galvanized line set covers. Quantity = 2 2.2. Installation: Contractor to properly mount the HVAC wall fan coil ("cassette"), condenser units, line sets, condensate pumps, and condensate drain lines to industry standards. Contractor will provide the following installation services: Place 36k high cassette units in the location noted on Attachment B- IDF Diagram of Cassette placement or the most efficient locations to keep the IDF room equipment at the appropriate cooling temperature. Install condensate pumps and drain lines Install condenser units on the existing concrete slab or to the structure following all federal, state, and local codes. See Attachment C- Condensing Unit Placement Image The Contractor shall be responsible for all wall penetrations to be watertight, and fire caulked per Federal, State, Local codes. Contractor evacuates the system before adding refrigerant to the system. Contractor will run and test the units operations with Facilities Department Manager present. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all debris and materials from the work site at owners' expense. The Agreement term shall be for a period of one (1) month. County may, at its option and upon Contractor's concurrence, extend the term for a period of not more than one (1) three (3) month , or until said services are no longer required, whichever is sooner. A bidder's bond, cash, certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit from a bank in an amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, is required for bids over $25,000.
