Project Description: Building 1415 is located within NASWF central core and is listed or is eligible to be listed under section 106 of the Historical Preservation Act. . Repairs and renovation to building 1415 follows the Secretary of Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation and Guidelines for Historic Buildings. Architecture in this area are required to embrace massing and detailing, responsive to the coastal frame construction exhibited on the Station Headquarters Building. The use of core district historical standard gray siding and white trim references are applied to rehabilitate the exterior of this building The improvement design descriptions are specified to ensure longevity and to preserve the historical integrity of the exterior aesthetic of the building. The work described herein shall include all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and any other work necessary to provide B1415 Exterior Wall Siding Replacement project complete and ready for use. The work shall be accomplished without compromising the historical integrity of the exterior aesthetic and contractor shall be using similar and/or matching commercial grade products and materials and installed in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local codes and ordinances including the latest editions of the International Building Code (IBC), Uniform Facilities Criteria (UFC), Florida Building Code (FBC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
