contractor to provide repair services to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of all styles of doors and gates throughout the district. The District has a variety of door and gate types which includes but is not limited to, rollup doors (motorized and manual), rolling grille style, fire doors, sectional doors, hanger style doors, rolling style gates, and arm gates. All locations along with pictures are available on an ArcGIS link within the solicitation document. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, tools, and all other necessities to perform repair services to include, but not limited to: A. Door & Gate Installation, Repair, and Replacements: i. Installation services will primarily consist of new overhead door installs, upgrades, or renovations. Contractor must provide a written quote to the District for review. Installations must be approved in advance. ii. Repair and/or replacement will primarily consist of identification and performance of any repairs required to bring the equipment up to the manufacturer's operating standards (component replacement as required to minimize malfunction, breakdown, or deterioration of the mechanical operating portion of the equipment). iii. If a door/gate requires complete replacement, Contractor must provide a written quote to the District for review. Replacements must be approved in advance. iv. The Contractor shall provide detailed estimates within twenty-four (24) hours of a request from the District. The District Representative may authorize immediate completion of work without the necessity of a return visit to maximize efficiency for repairs. B. Door & Gate Replacement Parts: i. The Contractor shall provide replacement parts as required during the term of the contract. Only Original Equipment Manufacturer ("OEM") parts may be utilized unless authorized by the District. All parts shall be in new condition. Contractor must maintain a reasonable inventory of new parts and components that are readily available to expedite repairs. ii. Parts and materials shall be billed at cost, plus a reasonable markup percentage. a. Contractor shall provide a copy of the suppliers' invoice for all parts and materials ordered along with the Contractor's invoice for services. b. The markup percentage is inclusive of all Contractor's overhead, profit and costs associated with parts and materials. Additional fees, costs, or markup will not be accepted. C. Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP): Contractor shall furnish and have accepted through CFTOD safety prior to commencement of work. The Contractor must supply their own cranes or lifts in the cost of the repair, if necessary. Contractor must have a minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in performing the scope of services. Contractor shall provide a reference list of at least two (2) clients where it has provided services of a similar capacity. It is at CFTOD's discretion to determine if a Contractor is qualified based upon submitted references.
