Site work and paving for a civil project in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
MnDOT requests letters of interest for professional, technical assistance to provide preliminary and detail design for replacement of Bridge 9728 on Interstate 90 (I-90) Eastbound over County State-Aid Highway (CSAH) 46 and the CPKC Railroad in Freeborn County. Bridge 9728 is a 4-span steel beam structure. The project spans approximately 0.21 miles, which includes the bridge, I-90 EB roadway, and a portion of the EB exit loop to CSAH 46. The project will construct a new bridge on the same I-90 alignment. The goal of this project is to provide 100 percent construction plan for the project by November 11, 2027. Prospective, pre-qualified responders who have any questions regarding this request for letters of interest must submit questions, by e-mail, to the Contract Administrator: Prentiss Sayeweh, Contract Administrator prentiss.sayeweh@state.mn.us Questions regarding this announcement must be received, via e-mail, by the Contact Administrator identified above no later than 2:00PM Central Time on 06/13/2025.
