Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of November 7th, 2025, the project was awarded to Jensen Excavating & Trucking LLC, with an awarded amount of $460,313.75** The Front Street Storm water Basin Project includes the excavation of two detention basins intended to provide additional storm water storage in the vicinity of the Skyline Plaza storm water basin, installation of two storm sewer inlet and outlet pipes, installation of 1,547 LF of 10-feet trail, removal and replacement of 40 LF of curb and gutter to accommodate construction access (if needed), and site grading and seeding. all labor, material, and equipment to install the following estimated quantities, among others: 1 LS Dewatering 21736 CY Excavation and embankment (CV) (P) 314.7 TON Shared Use Path Bituminous Paving 30 LF Remove and Replace Design B612 Curb and Gutter 184 LF 18" RC pipe culvert design 3006 class III 5.8 AC Erosion Control & Turf Establishment 1 LS 3-Year Planting Warranty and Maintenance The Front Street Stormwater Basin Project includes the excavation of two detention basins intended to provide additional stormwater storage in the vicinity of the Skyline Plaza stormwater basin, installation of two storm sewer inlet and outlet pipes, installation of 1,547 LF of 10-feet trail, removal and replacement of 30 LF of curb and gutter to accommodate construction access (if needed), and site grading and seeding. Project budget is limited by grant amount. If the low bid pushes project cost beyond grant amount, project scope could be reduced at the discretion of the Engineer. This reduction would be exempted from MnDOT requirements. The Engineer is given the right to increase or decrease any or all of the items specified in the Plans, Proposal, and Contract including the elimination of any one or more such items. Such changes shall in no way invalidate the Contract, and unless otherwise specified, will be made at the Contract Unit Prices. All Work included in this Section shall be performed in accordance with the following paragraphs, the General Requirements, and the provisions of the other Contract Documents. B. The Work shall consist of providing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for establishing vegetation, including but not limited to invasive species management, mowing, seeding, watering, inspecting and reporting for the plantings, as shown on the Drawings for the duration of the vegetation establishment period. C. The work shall include sitewide vegetation establishment and maintenance for three (3) years beginning after substantial completion of the contract. D. All work shall be performed by Contractor meeting minimum qualifications described in Section 2 - Vegetation Establishment.
