DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: Mill Bituminous Pavement (2.0") 6,485 SQ YD 12"-18" RC Pipe Sewer 725 LIN FT Aggregate Base, Class 5 1,765 CU YD 4"-6" Concrete Walk 21,864 SQ FT Bituminous Patch Special 2,150 SQ YD Concrete Curb & Gutter 3,171 LIN FT Type SP 9.5 Wearing Course (3,B) 1,200 TON Lighting Unit 12 EACH Traffic Control 1 LS 1.5"-2" Non-Metallic Conduit 1,934 LIN FT Seeding 0.7 ACRE Paint Striping 2,174 LIN FT together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete by June 1, 2026. BID SECURITY: A Proposal Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Geneva shall accompany each bid. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
