The award of a contract will require the successful bidder to collect and dispose of all solid waste, supply all labor, tools, machinery, plant, equipment, and perform all the work of collecting, removing, and disposing of solid waste once each week from all residential and applicable public places in the Borough of Hughestown. One bulk item pick-up per household, per month shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder. As provided in this request for proposals, discussions and negotiations may be conducted with responsible offerors for the purpose of clarification and of obtaining best and final offers. Responsible offers shall be accorded fair and equal treatment with respect to any opportunity for discussion and revision of proposals. The award of a service contract by the Borough, if made, will be made on or before sixty (60) days following the opening of the sealed proposals.
