Renovation of a fire / police facility in Toledo, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The City of Toledo DPS/FAFO is seeking bidders for replacement of HVAC at Fire Station # 21 Bid Guaranty requirements are located on the "Bid Information" tab Bid Detail section. The bid guaranty shall be in the form of a cashier's check/official check on a solvent bank or a bid bond. If using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. The check must also be scanned and uploaded with the e-bid. Company checks and personal checks will NOT be accepted. Checks shall be made payable to "City of Toledo." As noted above, City forms must be filled out and attached to the bid. Project Paperwork includes the following: Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Conditions Contract Specifications; Toledo Municipal Income Tax Compliance; Public Utilities Compliance; MBE Good Faith and Goal Commitment; EEO Form; Primary and Subcontractor Forms and Debarment and Suspension Certificate; Best Bid Criteria. Other required forms include those noted in the Response Type Section and also noted in the Other Details Section: Signed Contract by Vendor CEO/President; Child Support Affidavit; Insurance Certificate listing the city of Toledo as an additional insurer; and Current Worker's Compensation Certificate. The vendor will submit certified payrolls 2 weeks after start, then weekly thereafter. Special Notices Prevailing Wages are required for this project. It is the obligation of a contractor or subcontractor to make payment in accordance with the prevailing wage determinations. Current prevailing wage rates may be found on the Division of Purchases and Supplies site at online. When Davis-Bacon prevailing wages are required on federally funded construction projects, the Davis-Bacon wage determinations are available online. This project includes the removing of the existing boiler heating, installing the new VRF units, installing a new heat pump, installing a 60-KW standby generator with all associated mechanical and electrical work, and 32' of 6'H chain link fence plus an 8' double swing gate. 1.05 CONTRACT MILESTONES A. CONTRACTOR shall be required to meet the following project Milestones: 1. The project shall be complete, and warranties received within 105 days of Notice to Proceed. 2. Contractor shall hold pricing for 90 days from date of bid. 1.06 WORK BY OWNER A. General: Cooperate fully with Owner so work may be carried out smoothly, without interfering or delaying work under this Contract or work by Owner. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with work performed by Owner. B. Contractor shall coordinate all work with the Owner Representative, Architect, and Third Party inspection agents.
