Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Castle Rock, Colorado. Design plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Advanced treatment processes are necessary for the effective treatment of the Town's Plum Creek surface water and reuse water supplies. The future goal of the Town is to provide 75% renewable water supply annually to its customers and this project will be a key component to achieve that goal. Ultimate treatment capacity at Plum Creek Water Purification Facility (PCWPF) will be 12 million gallons per day. The membrane racks need to be replaced every 10 years, the first set was installed in 2013. As of June 10, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). It is currently in the design phase. Construction will begin in 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
