A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Order of the County of Carbon, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. As such, the bidders must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns that have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. FY2023 The scope of work for the 2025 CDBG Project - Proposed Improvements Along Mauch Chunk Road (South Side Only - from Franklin Avenue to beyond the un-opened portion of Linden Street) for the Borough of Palmerton, Carbon County, Pennsylvania will include the following proposed improvement items: plain cement concrete curb construction, plain cement concrete sidewalk construction, ADA ramp construction, pavement milling and roadway preparation, followed by a bituminous tack coat, a superpave asphalt leveling course, and a superpave asphalt wearing course for the project areas as shown on the Construction Plans. All project areas and/or roadway improvement areas included with this project will be contained within the existing Borough right-of-way areas.
