Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids are invited for the renovation of an existing suite located on the basement level of the VDOT Central Office Highway Building, at 1221 E. Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia. The project is generally described as a portion of the basement level to be renovated for a new VDOT occupancy. The area of renovation will also include the addition of two small exterior HVAC units and a concrete curb. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are requested, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.)
