The City of Merriam intends to engage with qualified engineering firms to provide on-call professional services to perform various professional services, such as roadway design, traffic engineering, stormwater management, geotechnical engineering, surveying, structural engineering, and construction engineering. The selected on-call engineering firm(s) will provide design services and manage Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects in the City's 5-year CIP, as well as provide additional on-call engineering services or studies as necessary. The City's CIP is listed on the City's website at PowerPoint Presentation. The City may contract with up to two firms for engineering services. The professional services agreement will have a term of three years. A Master Services Agreement will be executed for the full term of the agreement with individual task orders executed for specific projects or tasks assigned. This is a qualifications-based selection. Although the initial billing rate will be set in the contract, the consultant will have the ability to update billing rates annually during the term of the agreement The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
