Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for outdoor lighting for a bridge / tunnel.
The improvement includes the demolition of existing interior HVAC ducting, interior and exterior lighting and electrical, all existing interior finishes, existing automatic sliding door, glass block wall and miscellaneous wall conditions, and replacement with new HVAC ducting and exterior screening, interior and exterior lighting, electrical, security cameras, carpet, door hardware, ADA-compliant sliding doors and operators, interior and exterior painting, and interior and exterior window films, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 671-097/114, 3CaS Skywalk Bridge located between 3rd Street and 4th Street above the alley between Court Avenue and Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than May 29, 2026 and in accordance with the Completion Provisions Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
