21st Avenue Sewer Bypass Project - The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a new 24-inch diameter gravity sewer main to provide a permanent gravity bypass for an existing sewer lift station that will be abandoned. Work includes excavation, pipe installation, manhole installation, trenchless casing and pipe installation across 21st Avenue, backfill, testing, and surface restoration. Work also includes connections to existing sewer, abandonment of existing lift station, utility coordination, and CCTV inspection of completed sewer and manholes. A portion of the bypass was completed in 2021. The current project also includes completion of elements of work not completed previously. All contractors submitting bids are required to have a valid Idaho Public Works License and to include the number on their submitted Bid. Payment and Performance Bonds equal to the bid amount are required upon award of Contract. This work is financed entirely from City funds. Federal Davis-Bacon wage requirements do not apply. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids not in the best interest of the City. The construction cost for the project is estimated to be in the range of $8.3 to $8.9 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
