As of September 4, 2025, a construction manager/general contractor has been selected for the project. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The building site is located on County owned property at 22108 Pond Lane in unincorporated Canyon County near the city of Caldwell (see Attachment A). The building will serve as a detention facility for approximately 192 incarcerated persons in Canyon County and will be used in conjunction with existing County detention facilities. This project will be referred to as the Pond Lane Detention Facility Project or the Project. Questions regarding this RFQ and requests for any clarification regarding its terms or the Project will be considered only if they are submitted in writing and received by the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Written questions may be submitted via email to bocc@canyoncounty.id.gov. All questions and clarifications to the RFQ will be addressed in a written addendum to be issued Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
