Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Highway District No. 4 (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: FARMWAY & USTICK ROUNDABOUT PROJECT (FUR) The Project includes the following Work: Construct a multi-lane roundabout at the intersection of Farmway Rd and Ustick Rd in Caldwell, Idaho, including relocation of the Phyllis Canal; tiling of the Bardsley Gulch Drain; roadway, irrigation, drainage and miscellaneous other improvements. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts of the work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Highway District No. 4 as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Highway District No. 4 reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous and in the best interest of Highway District No. 4. ***Document Note: Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
