Site work for a parking garage in Brule, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage.
- Performing an exploration program consisting of eight (8) Standard Penetration Test (SPT) borings: four (4) to depths of 25 feet or refusal within the building footprint, three (3) to depths of 15 feet or refusal within the stormwater pond footprint, and one (1) to a depth of 10 feet or refusal within the parking area footprint. - Performing laboratory tests and observations of soil samples to evaluate pertinent engineering properties of materials encountered. - Preparing a report containing a description of the drilling program, a description of the geology and subsurface conditions encountered, groundwater conditions, boring logs with a boring location sketch, results of laboratory testing, and recommendations for site preparation, foundation design, pavement design, and construction. We understand that DSGW Architects is in the design process to construct a public works garage and administration office in Brule, Wisconsin. Additional site work includes concrete sidewalks, paved parking and drive areas, and a stormwater pond. The building construction type and building loads are not known at the time of this report; though we assume column loads less than 50 kips and wall loads less than five kips per lineal foot.
