The intent and meaning of the Contract Documents is that the Contractor shall provide labor, plant, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation facilities and appurtenances thereto which are indicated or reasonably implied by the Drawings and Specifications to provide a complete and functional parking facilities at the Liberty Lane Courthouse Annex in Scottsboro, Alabama. This Contractor is responsible for their clean up and project security at all affected levels and elsewhere as required and as outlined in detail hereinafter. JACKSON COUNTY LIBERTY LANE PARKING FACILITY SCOTTSBORO, ALABAMA: Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition and renovations of the existing parking at the north side of the facility as follows: Alternate No. 1: Each bidder shall include on their proposal the cost including material, labor, overhead and profit, etc. for complete renovation to the North Parking Lot to include cleaning, preparation, sealing and painted striping as shown on drawings. Alternate No. 2: Each bidder shall include on their proposal the cost including material, labor, overhead and profit, etc. for the difference in Alternate No. 1 and completing a 1 1/2 " depth milling and overlay at the existing North Parking Lot. Base Bid work for this project includes clearing and grubbing, undercutting, compacted fill and base, new asphalt paving and curb and gutter as shown on drawings. This contract also includes furnishing and installing a Traffic Control Gate System at the Base Bid Parking Lot and exterior Site Parking Lot. This contractor will also install a Traffic Control Gate cover as detailed. Contractor laydown area will be on site at the location determined at the Pre-Bid Conference. Note: This area will be maintained and restored as required at the end of construction. This site will remain occupied during the construction activities. Contractor will be required to complete any phasing associated with this project with respect to occupancy. Clean up and maintenance of the city streets and services as well as County, City, or private property is required by this contract.
