Reference Number 0000390010 The work covered by the asbestos, lead paint, and mold remediation and abatement agreement includes supervision, labor, equipment, materials, insurance and the transportation and disposal of asbestos waste as necessary for the legal and safe remediation of friable and non-friable asbestos containing materials throughout the OU Campus and off-campus locations. Asbestos Abatement work in Classes I through III may be completed as part of this blanket. Abatement and remediation of lead paint and mold may also be completed as part of this contract. Multiple contractors may be chosen for different classes of work. Although the University cannot guarantee any business, historical spend on average for asbestos abatement services has been approximately $145K in the last 3 years. Prices quoted and your responses to this RFP must be guaranteed for the entire three-year term of the agreement. Based on mutual agreement of Oakland University and the successful respondent, unless terminated, or canceled, as otherwise provided herein, the agreement has the option to extend for two additional one-year periods, through 2030. The University will not agree to auto renew clauses.
