Oklahoma City Public Schools is seeking bid(s) for Full Service Treatment for various sites for a complete turnkey service-oriented water treatment and heat transfer fluid maintenance program. This undivided responsibility heat transfer fluid/water treatment program shall include all labor, corrosion inhibitors and other chemicals, all materials handling and transportation, all equipment and materials to provide effective water treatment for all hydronic boiler systems, cooling tower(s), all heating water closed loops, all chilled water closed loops, all l freeze protected hydronic secondary heat transfer systems. This also includes maintenance of all freeze protection fluids at prescribed freeze points. Each Bidder shall submit a Bid Bond with their bid in the amount of $2,500.00 or 5% of bid amount whichever is greater. Such bond will be payable to the Independent School District #89 of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, d/b/a Oklahoma City Public Schools, 615 N. Classen, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73106. The bond shall be forfeited to the District the cost of republication of notice to bidders, all actual expenses incurred by reason of Bidder's default, and the difference between the low bid of the defaulting bidder and the amount of the bid of the bidder to whom the contract is subsequently awarded, but not to exceed the amount of the Bid Bond, in the event that the apparently successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract or fails to provide the required Bonds and Insurance to the District. The initial term of this Agreement is from July 1, 2025, or on the first day of work performance, whichever islater, through June 30, 2026. In accordance with state law, the continuation of this contract may be extended for four (4) one-year option periods dependent upon available funding and if mutually agreed upon by both parties. OKCPS reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the school district and/or waive any bid. The District is under no obligation to accept any bid.
