Site work for a water / sewer project in Morganton, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The existing underground piping system serving the heating and cooling needs for the majority of the campus was installed in 1962 and is experiencing leaks on a regular basis such that it needs to be replaced. The existing piping is a two-pipe system such that the system has to be switched from heating to cooling on a seasonal basis. This project would replace the deteriorating two-pipe system with a four-pipe system that would allow heating and cooling simultaneously. Total Project Budget $5,335,000 (with $1,067,000 in Available Funds)
