**As of October 31, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded in two weeks.** The Burke County Board of Education (hereinafter "Board") is accepting submittals for construction manager at risk services for a new Eastern Elementary School, to be construction on a land owned by the Board adjacent or near to the current Hildebran Elementary School campus (collectively, the "Project"). The Board has selected the Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) delivery method and is hereby soliciting responses from capable and experienced construction management firms. A selection committee will determine a first candidate and one or more alternate candidates and negotiate scope of work and fee to be considered by the Board. If an agreement cannot be reached with the selected candidate, negotiations with alternates will commence. The CMAR and Project architect shall work in cooperation with the Board of Education to design and construct the Project in line with the Board's programmatic needs, standards, goals, schedule, and budget endorsed by the Board.
