Renovation of a museum in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The NC Maritime Museum at Southport is State Operated with the Friends of the NC Maritime Museum at Southport. This project will correct all deficiencies found in the Facility Condition Assessment Program (FCAP) Inspection Report dated December 4, 2024 which includes roof replacement, siding repair, exterior painting, window replacement, interior egress updates & corrections, access to second floor (elevator), carpet replacement, electrical equipment study & corrections, and fire alarm control panel replacement. In addition to all standard State Construction Office requirements, permits from the City of Southport will also be required.
