The Work includes but is not limited to the following: Mechanical Trades, Test and Balancing (TAB), and controls electrician and programming support (direct digital and PLE interface) to remove, relocate and install mechanical systems piping, fittings, supports, insulation, controls (and raceways), telescoping air ducts (TADs), flex hosing, and various other accessories for Pre-Conditioned Air (PC Air) systems servicing parked aircraft at the PLBs. Some minor work to relocate potable water cabinets may be required, too. Some of the materials for installation, such as air handling units, TADs, flex hoses, and other accessories may be provided, as owner-furnished. Additionally, other work will include Mechanical, Plumbing and HVAC work, as well as related electrical controls Work. The Bidder is also acknowledging that it will adhere to the Values and Standards of the Port of Seattle. A copy of the Third This contract is for Work to be performed at various Port-wide sites within the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Seaport Properties, and surrounding vicinities. At the time of bid, the Port of Seattle is unable to determine the precise schedule, or amount of work, that may be performed under this Contract. The work, will be assigned in a writ-ten Work Authorization by a POS Construction Manager. The Work Authorization will address the scope of work, the estimated value of the work, and time of completion. The Work, as directed by the Work Authorization, shall be performed in accordance with industry standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to perform the work as requested by the Port of Seattle via a Work Authorization. All Contractor labor shall be provided as defined by the labor classifications per the Schedule of Unit Prices listed in Document 00 41 00 - Bid Form. The contract will be awarded for an estimated amount not to exceed $1,500,000.00, which excludes Washington State Sales Tax. Bid Bond. Each bid must include a bid guarantee in the form of a cashiers check, money order, or surety bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Port of Seattle. A. copy of the bid guarantee shall be provided electronically with your bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Each bond shall be in the full amount of the contract sum. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with the Port. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the Ports Title VI Coordinator within one hundred, eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence. Title VI Discrimination Complaint Forms may be obtained from the office of the Title VI Coordinator at no cost to the complainant by calling (206) 787- 4066 or sending an email.
