Alternate Bid: The sum stated in the Bid offered by the Bidder to be added to or deducted from the Base Bid for Work described as a change in the project. An Alternate Bid may change price, time, scope, materials, or methods of construction. The contracts entitled SW-0322393 ELECTRICAL UNIT PRICE PORTWIDE 2025-1 & SW-0322394 ELECTRICAL UNIT PRICE PORTWIDE 2025-2 include providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals to perform, complete and finish electrical systems installations. Electrical work includes but is not limited to installations of raceways, wiring, medium voltage cabling, boxes, transformers, miscellaneous electrical devices, temporary power and lighting assemblies, and equipment, testing, and grounding in accordance with all requirements of the code-enforcing agencies. The Port may award the low bid and the second low bid, or may award only the low bid, or neither. The contracts shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders. However, the Port reserves the right to award only one contract to the lowest bidder or to cancel the solicitation. The Port is anticipating a large demand for electrical small projects in the next year. The Port intends to award two contracts from this solicitation to enable us to quickly execute the work and to ensure enough capacity by having 2 different contractors available. Question Cut-off Date: Jun 19, 2025, 11:30:00 PM Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with the Port. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the Ports Title VI Coordinator within one hundred, eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
