The board of Education of the Westbury ufsd has authorized a bid for the Nassau county directors of School facilities purchasing consortium. The contract will be awarded to the best proposer as determined by the District. It is appropriate to emphasize that the lowest proposer may not be the best. The District will evaluate and score each proposal in accordance with the categories presented below. Proposals shall be irrevocable for a minimum period of forty-five (45) days from the date of proposal opening. Base bid rates based on yearly contract (per month rate x 12); hourly labor rate, for work approved by the District but not included in the base bid per hour rate; and hourly labor rate, for emergency service required outside of regular working hours as specified.
