Renovation of a municipal facility in Nyack, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of August 25, 2025, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. Reference Number 0000390132 The scope of work for the project includes the removal of existing HVAC systems, and furnish and install new VRV system, including associated electrical upgrades and work. The replacement of the roof (by others) is to be coordinated with the VRV system project, and contractor to ensure a coordinated timeline and project. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, or bid bond executed by a surety company, in the amount of not less than (10) percent of the total amount of the proposal, conditioned that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will enter into a contract for the work and that he will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Please take further Notice that The Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all portions of the proposal, and to re-advertise for same, should the best interest of the Village. The Village also reserves the right to reject any proposal that is informal or waive any informality in the bidding document.
