Renovation of a municipal facility in Nyack, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Question Deadline 01/01/2026 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to John Sharkey at SharkeY.John@WSEInc.com, and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. The scope of work for the project includes the replacement of the roof of the Village Hall roof. The replacement of the roof is to be coordinated with the HVAC project, and contractor to ensure a coordinated timeline and project The scope of work for the roof reconstruction project includes the following: removal of the existing roofing system down to the deck, rooftop asbestos abatement, building cornice sealing and replacement of (1) cornice stone, all as depicted on the accompanying Contract Drawings and Technical Specifications. The owner will be performing a separate contract scope of work to remove existing HVAC equipment on the roof as identified on the drawings, and install a new VRV system. Coordination will be required between contractors. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable federal, state, and local statutes. Small and Minority Firms, Women's Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area Firms. Consistent with federal mandates, the Village solicits bids from any and all parties including but not limited to small businesses, minority businesses and enterprises owned and conducted by women. The lowest qualified bidder meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents will be awarded the bid. Statement of Non-Collusion Bidders on the Contract are required to execute non-collusion bidding certificates pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order, which concerns nondiscrimination in employment, are explained in the Contract Documents. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Section 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York. Please take further Notice that The Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all portions of the proposal, and to re-advertise for same, should the best interest of the Village. The Village also reserves the right to reject any proposal that is informal or waive any informality in the bidding document.
