The Tri-View business district continues to experience reinvestment and growth. In addition, Kwik Star is planning construction of a large new convenience store in 2026 at the SW corner of Tri View Ave. and Zenith Dr. A recent traffic study indicates the new store will increase average daily traffic by 4,336 trips. Additional traffic is also projected to increase on Hamilton Blvd. based on overall growth in the city. This project will replace TriView from the west cul-de-sac all the way east to Myrtle Street. Hamilton Boulevard is planned to be reconstructed from the railroad north of Tri View Avenue and south as needed to provide storage for all of the planned traffic that would be turning into the new truck stop. A sidewalk/trail will also connect Tri-View Avenue to Larsen Park Road. Water, Sanitary, and Storm would be fully replaced on the west side of Hamilton Blvd. The utilities are new on the east side of Hamilton Blvd. The project will improve the traffic signals at this intersection as well, including pedestrian signals for the trail/sidewalk connections that are being completing as part of this project. Estimated construction cost total is $5,878,750. This project is included in the City's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
