Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Rochelle, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 26,985-square-foot educational facility.

The Owner, the City School District of the City of New Rochelle, will receive sealed bids to furnish materials and labor to complete the New Rochelle 2023 Capital Project - Phase 2B which includes alterations to the Whitney Auditorium at New Rochelle HS (including interior finishes, electrical infrastructure upgrades, theatrical lighting, and fixed audience seating). Alterations to Isaac E. Young MS (including new rooftop equipment, demolition of interior partitions to permit installation of new mechanical ductwork, electrical service upgrades, replacement of suspended ceilings, and new interior partitions and finishes). Each bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: Contract No. 11 - General Construction (GC-03) Contract No. 12 - Mechanical Construction (MC-03) Contract No. 13 - Electrical Construction (EC-03) Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications may be examined as of June 13, 2025 free of charge, by appointment only, at the following location: CSArch 19 Front Street Newburgh, New York 12550 845-561-3179 It is the intention of this Project to be both environmentally and fiscally-conscious of paper use and consumption. Therefore, documents will be distributed as digital sets. Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications may be viewed online free of charge beginning June 13, 2025 at CSArch City School District of the City of New Rochelle 188-2301.02 2023 Capital Project - Phase 2B ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 001113 - 2 or electronically-downloaded for a non refundable fee of one-hundred dollars ($100.00). Bid Date Notes : Bidders must provide Bid Security in the amount and form, per the conditions provided in Section 002113 Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days following the receipt of Bids. The Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, as the Owner being exempt therefrom. Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. The City School District of the City of New Rochelle reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject all Bids without explanation. Bid Package Contract GC-03 - General Construction Work: All work related to General Construction includes removal and reinstallation. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following items. Refer to the Contract Documents for full scope of work. i. All demolition as noted on the contract drawings, waterproofing, firerated partition repair, new suspended ceiling system and ACT, gypsum wallboard partitions and ceilings, painting, patching, door demolition and replacement, partition demolition, steel lintels, masonry work, and metal stud partitions, structural concrete repair, reinforcing steel, concrete slabs, flooring including demolition and installation, ceramic tiling, and concreting related to finish plans, temporary fire-rated partitions, installation of roof curbs for mechanical units (MC to provide) and installation of access panels for MEP Trades (MEP to provide). ii. Work related to drawings; (In addition to these drawings, the Prime Contractor is required to review all specifications included in the overall Contract that may contain related scope or detail for this specific Contract). 1. New Rochelle High School (NRHS) - Phase 2B NRHS SET, dated 05/30/2205 2. Isaac E. Young Middle School (IEYMS) - Phase 2B IEYMS SET - dated 05/30/2025 Project Identification: The project consists of all labor, materials, equipment, appliances, services, and incidentals necessary for layout, installing, and performing Additions and Alterations at the City School District of New Rochelle as shown on the Contract Drawings and described in the Specifications. D. The work will be constructed under multiple prime contracts. The GC is responsible for communicating, coordinating, and scheduling work with all awarded listed Contracts below. One (1) set of contract documents is issued covering multiple Contracts. Each Prime Contract is defined as: CONTRACT GC-03 - GENERAL CONSTRUCTION WORK. CONTRACT MC-03 - MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION WORK. CONTRACT EC-03 - ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION WORK. Question Deadline 07/18/2025-- No interpretation of the meaning of the Contract Documents, the existing conditions, or of the scope of Work will be made verbally.
