Renovation of a parking garage in New Rochelle, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
NR Transit Center & New Roc Garage. The selected Consultant will provide Architectural & Engineering Services to assess the condition, develop and outline recommendations for improvements and prepare budgetary estimates for the recommended improvements of the NR Transit Center & New Roc Garage. The assessment shall include the following: 1. Review of pertinent existing documents (to be made available after award and upon request) 2. Performance of visual observations of existing site conditions including: o Fire Suppression System; o Security & Fire Alarm System; o All Drainage Systems; o All electrical and mechanical systems including elevators, escalators, lighting and heating in the stairwells; o Review of all pre-cast and cast concrete structures for deterioration; o Review of pre-cast flange connectors and floor joints for water tight integrity; o Review & overall analysis of structural integrity; o Analysis of waterproof protection systems; and o Analysis of corrosion protection coatings to all metal and miscellaneous materials 3. Observe and quantify the readily accessible interior & exterior deterioration inside the structures. Provide an inventory of all deficiencies noted. The City of New Rochelle is a sponsor of the Westchester Affirmative Action Equal Employment Agreement and strongly encourages all firms qualified and certified as Women/Minority Business Enterprises (W/MBE) to submit proposals. Propose repair options and/or recommendations based on level of priority for further investigation to determine the required scope of work for repair. 5. Provide a recommended five (5) year repair program indicating scope of work for year 1 through 5 and their anticipated construction cost for implementation, to be submitted electronically 6. Review draft assessment report with City of New Rochelle stakeholders during a face to face meeting to discuss before deliverable before it is finalized. 7. Distribute final assessment report to City of New Rochelle stakeholders and schedule meeting to discuss deliverable. Question Deadline 07/10/2025 The City of New Rochelle is the owner of the New Rochelle Transit Center Garage (NR Transit Center) located at 2 Station Plaza North and the New Roc Garage located at 51 LeCount Place.
