Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Rochelle, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and warehouse / distribution facility.
The Consultant will provide architectural and engineering services for the design of a state-of-the-art security camera system for the New Roc Garage located at 51 LeCount Place, the New Rochelle Transit Center Garage located at 2 Station Plaza North and the Train Station located at 24 Station Plaza in the City of New Rochelle. The City of New Rochelle is seeking proposals from firms for Architectural and Engineering Services. Provide design concepts/alternatives to ensure near 100% coverage of all city-controlled parking areas, stairwells, lobbies, entrances and exits, and pedestrian pathways immediately surrounding both garages and the train station. Connection to existing monitoring station inside of New Roc Garage both and Train Station lobby security booth. a. Upgrades to security monitors should be included in scope. City is seeking to replace DVR storage system with a cloud-based server system that can be accessed via website. The City is requiring the use of non-proprietary technology. Preparation and support of complete drawings and specifications for formal bidding. Contract administration, project inspection and construction management as may be required. The City of New Rochelle is a sponsor of the Westchester Affirmative Action Equal Employment Agreement and strongly encourages all firms qualified and certified as Women/Minority Business Enterprises (W/MBE) to submit proposals. A Respondent, prior to submitting its response, shall check the City's website to see if any Addendum or Addenda has/have been issued for the RFP and, if so, the Respondent must establish in writing that they have received any and all Addendum or Addenda issued for the RFP. Exhibit D must be completed with all responses. Question Deadline 07/14/2025 Questions can be submitted to kconca@newrochelleny.gov and will be answered by Wednesday, July 16, 2025. This Request for Proposal (RFP) does not commit the City to award a contract, pay any cost incurred in the preparation of a proposal in response to this RFP or to procure or contract for services. The City intends to award a contract(s) on the basis of the best interest and advantage to the City and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this RFP, to negotiate with any or all qualified proposers or to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety, if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
