The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing labor and equipment required to eliminate blockages and/or overflows that may occur in the County Trunk Sewer System as well as inspect and televise County Trunk Sewers that cannot be handled by County personnel and equipment on an on-call basis. The contract is for the period September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2028. The Contract may be extended by mutual consent of the Contractor and the County of Westchester for one (1) additional three year term, with all prices, terms and conditions remaining the same as the original contract. General Requirements - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 30 % - Payment Bond 30 % The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for thirty (30) percent of the total amount Bid. the County of Westchester, it is the goal of the County to use its best efforts to encourage, promote and increase the participation of business enterprises owned and controlled by persons of color or women - Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE). The County reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid except by written request submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours before the time of opening or until the lapse of forty-five (45) days after the actual opening thereof.
