Renovation of a mixed-use development in Leonardtown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This work shall include, but not be limited to, control valves, water supply, control devices, pumps, compressors, alarm and electric devices, sprinkler heads, piping, hangers, flow switches, and all related equipment of the sprinkler systems, standpipe and hose systems, private fire service mains, fire pumps, water storage tanks, water spray fixed systems, foam-water sprinkler systems, valves and fire department connections. Award Bidder(s) shall perform emergency and routine trouble shooting/problem diagnosis. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: JUNE 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., local time The Board of Education of St. Mary's County on behalf of St. Mary's County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Contractors to provide labor, equipment, materials, supervision, tools and all related incidentals required to maintain, repair, and/or upgrade sprinkler systems at various locations throughout SMCPS on a scheduled and as needed basis to include emergency response. The resulting contract shall be awarded for a period of one (1) year with SMCPS having the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods. SMCPS reserves the right to award the requirements of this bid in total or in part as it determines to be in the best interest of SMCPS. SMCPS reserves the right to make multiple awards. Contract awards are subject to the availability of funding. Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice.
