This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure the goods or services, as specified in this Section 2, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and Contractor to provide electrical maintenance, repair, and services, as outlined in this IFB, at properties located in St. Mary County. The work under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, the furnishings of all labor, materials, equipment, ladders, scaffolds, lifts, hoists, services, and any other equipment necessary to satisfactorily execute and complete the project in full compliance with the Contract requirements. It is the State's intention to obtain goods and services, as specified in this IFB, from a contract between the selected Bidder and the State. This specification describes the requirements to provide qualified licensed electrical repairs, installation, maintenance, replacement, and remodeling services on an as-needed basis at MDOT SHA facilities located in St. Mary County, Maryland. This proposal will establish hourly rates and materials with mark-up percentages. Quantities listed are estimated for the purpose of bid evaluation and may not represent actual quantities experienced upon commencement of the contract.
